Understanding Wine

is the name of a short course in palate appreciation.

Developed over my 34 years of working in and around the wine industry, the course is based on empowering people with confidence in their ability to understand a glass of wine.

Participants, both trade and public, gain the confidence to consider and discuss wine from their ability to understand what is in their glass. This leads to greater enjoyment and enthusiasm about what is one of the world's great beverages.

Understanding Wine is presented as a minimum of three two-hour sessions. Two further sessions are available.

Regional Experience

Those who complete Understanding Wine are then able to participate in Regional Experience, an on-going series of two-hour sessions that focus on wines from the world's wine regions.
